Two film productions will affect traffic and parking in downtown Beacon next week, with shoots scheduled on Tuesday and Wednesday.

On Tuesday, November 10, crews will film on East Main Street between Main Street and Leonard Street. Main Street itself stays open. Between 5 and 7 PM, traffic through the corridor remains intermittently available for rush-hour commuters. After 7 PM, city police will redirect traffic to nearby roadways. Parking restrictions go into effect along the corridor and on impacted side streets during production hours. The Churchill Street parking lot closes for the night and reopens at 5 AM Wednesday morning. Drivers can find resident street parking on Main Street or Tioronda Avenue.

On Wednesday, November 11, a separate production takes over a portion of the private parking lot between North Brett and North Walnut streets. Key Food Marketplace and the adjacent restaurant stay open, and portions of the lot remain available for parking. Public street parking on both North Brett and North Walnut between Main Street and Church Street will be restricted, with intermittent road closures on the North Walnut portion after 5 PM. Loop Bus service runs as normal.

According to A Little Beacon Blog, the Wednesday shoot is for The Four Seasons, filming inside CareFull MD Urgent Care. The urgent care clinic will be closed that day.

The city posted full details on beaconny.gov on November 6.
