Poughkeepsie

The Dutchess County District Attorney's Office Drug Task Force arrested Marc Greenland, 36, following an investigation into alleged narcotic sales on the South Side of the City of Poughkeepsie. Agents say they identified activity consistent with the sale and distribution of dangerous drugs in the area of Dean Place and surrounding areas. They identified Greenland as the alleged dealer and purchased PCP, a hallucinogen also known as Angel Dust, from him on numerous occasions. On October 15, 2026, Drug Task Force members, assisted by the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office Emergency Service Unit and the Poughkeepsie Joint SWAT team, executed a search warrant at Greenland's Dean Place address and took him into custody without incident. Agents say they found numerous packages of PCP ready for sale along with other evidence related to distribution of the drug. Greenland was charged with one count of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the fifth degree, a class D felony, and one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree with intent to sell, also a class D felony. He was arraigned in the City of Poughkeepsie and remanded without bail to the Justice and Transition Center. District Attorney Anthony Parisi said: "The distribution of dangerous drugs like PCP poses a serious threat to the safety and well-being of our communities."
